![]() Just before crossing the bridge before the lap's end, you'll pass up a dock to your left. The most difficult turn in the race isn't a particularly sharp corner, but is just plain long. Once on the pavement, the course winds up and downward-you can effectively slide around every corner that has the yellow arrow signs, building extra boost. When you get to the dirt portion of the track, powerslide around the last three turns (left, right, left) before returning to paved roads. One thing that's great about this course is that almost every turn is powerslide friendly. As the track turns left onto a dirt path, take advantage of the outer wall, slamming opponents into it for some easy takedowns. And since you're driving in the USA, stick to the left lanes when driving to build extra "oncoming" boost.Īs with most of the early races, it's a good idea to get an early takedown to earn yourself some much needed boost. Your vehicle selection is pretty limited at this point, but one thing's certain-weight can work to your advantage when it comes to scoring takedowns, so choose either the COMPACTY TYPE 2 or TYPE 3 car to start this race.
